What a Girl wants....

The prompt for Artists Play Room this week is 'The love of Pairs'.

Lurking in my wardrobe, a pair of red heels
with a pretty bling bow.
Now I am not a girly girl.
My feet are wide and sensible.
I am sure I could not totter across the room
wearing these beauties.
But in my heart lurks a desire
to walk elegantly into a room
and twirl while people gasp and murmur,
what elegance, what beauty.
So from time to time
the lovely red high heels
sit in pride of place on my dresser
and I dream.

Have fun creating this week all you lovely artists and dreamers!

  3. I love your Paris shoes but I'm afraid most of my high heel shoe days are over. Sometimes to church or on a date with my husband my toes and legs endure, but I always count the minutes until I can be home, tuck them in their see through boxes and slip my feet into some soft slippers or sensible flats. But yes, we dream...

  5. Oh, I'm so with you on that. I used to wear really high heels to work (I'm only 5 ft). These days it's comfy shoes, would love to don the old heels again. Love that picture, it speaks the truth!!

  7. I love these! What a sexy pair! I haven't been able to comfortably wear heels ever! When I was first married we went into New York City to Radio City Music Hall, I was 20 years old. It was an event, so all of us "dressed up". I wore 3" inch heels. Within 45 minutes I had a severe pain running from my second(longer)toe all the way up to my knee! I haven't worn any type/height since about 6 years ago. Sorry I am so late in commenting,I just got mine posted today!
