Summer of Color
The colours for
Summer of Color this week were charcoal and pink. I must admit the colours together were
outside of my comfort zone. I fluffed about
for a while, however a dream came to the rescue. I dreamt I was in the dark and reaching out
and a flower appeared in my hand and I went to sniff it but there was no smell
and it disappeared. Yeah I know you
could have a field day interpreting it! So, you are looking at my picture and
thinking but that’s a shoe…? Well there’s
a story, Giggles reminded me of it with her shoe inspired icads. I have a pair of red high heels in my wardrobe,
I never wear them, haven't done for years, think I would fall off them now, these
days I am into comfort big time. I had
them in my glamour days, hehe. Well, I
did seduce the love of my life in them, tut, tut, I was wearing a little black
dress. Yeah I still got that too,
probably wouldn’t fit on my leg now! I
only painted them pink because it the colour of SOC, der! I am quite glad that in my dream the flower didn’t
smell, because, it would not have been so pleasant for my beauty if the shoes
smelt.
My Giveaway Journal
This is the next
spread of the journal I am making for my give away at the end of the month. If you would like to go into the draw please
leave a comment, I will randomly pick from the comments of posts during July.
This week I was inspired
by Pablo Picasso’s quote: “Everything you can imagine is real.”
More Postcards
As well I am giving
away two postcards each week to a blogger who leaves a comment. Last week the winner was Kat of Creations,
she chose Princess and Hollyhocks. So
they will winging their way to her next week. (the postcards are on my
Postcards page, Tab at top)
I have become addicted
to making postcards and did 4 more during the week. They will also be available to winners of the
draw)
The other thing I
did this week was 7 more icads, I will post them tomorrow as I think that this
is more than long enough!
