Here's a thought - Face 4

Do you sometimes wonder what is real and what isn’t?  I do.  Life can be quite surreal at times, and you need to pinch yourself quite hard.  Yesterday, I was on my daily walk in a local nature reserve, I sat down on a tree stump, closed my eyes to the glare of the sun, and when I opened them I was surrounded by lots of dragonflies flitting around. Their iridescent wings were awesome. Then, I wondered am I really seeing these, is it a trick of the light?  I think they were real, but when I shook my head they had all gone.  Was it a figment of my imagination?  I suppose I will never know, all I can say it seemed real! 

The above journal page is my 4^th Face for the 29 Faces in February at Ayala’s blog. Button in sidebar.  I have used watercolour paints on paper textured with gesso. I created the texture by dragging string, combs and making marks with the top of a brush.  The small wring was from a couple of handwriting stamps.  The quote I added in Photoshop.
