A Certain Look

This is my warm up for today at Diana Evans 10 Minute Warm Up Linky.

In the weekend I was going to bite the bullet and update my Painter programme, it was from the ark before Corel took over.  When I got to the Corel site, the price made me shudder and I thought I would have to settle for the cheaper Painter Essentials, then, I saw the free trial button, and thought why not, give me time to save up.  So I have the trial version for 30 days, Woo hoo! Today is my first experiment.  I used a charcoal paper Background and grainy pastels, and of course my tablet; don’t know where I would be without it!

She looks a bit grumpy, maybe because it is cold and she had to light the first fire of the season!  Like who wants to go out to the shed in her nighty to get wood?

Have a great day!

    1. It is compatible with photoshop and illustrator. It is more of a painting program with awesome brushes. It is not really into photo manipulation, but you can paint over and turn photos into paintings (which I havent tried yet)

  3. What vibrant colors! My first thought was that it was a pastel on paper, not a digital one, so I'm impressed with what you did. Very nice work!
