The prompt at Art
- Journal - Journey, this month is
crown. I have been working on this page
for a while and when I saw the prompt I just knew I had to add a crown, albeit
a small one. Has to be as she would get
it entangled in the branches, as she is a bit of a woodland dweller.
I used watercolours and two stamps - the Celtic knot
and handwriting stamps.
While the next is strictly speaking not a journal page,
it is in my journal as the drawing started off as a doodle, when I thinking of what
type of illustration I needed for a story I am writing about a young Cat Prince
called Ambrose (see my post for Sunday Sketches). As you can see they all are wearing crowns!
These
two are Prince Ambrose parents – the King and Queen of a faraway island called
Ambrosia.
Have a great rest of month creating journal pages everyone, and
thanks for visiting,
